'Mujhe Aapka Sahayak,' Amitabh Bachchan becomes emotional and donates money for the brain tumour treatment of a KBC 16 contestant.

Amitabh Bachchan was spotted crying in the most recent Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 episode as a competitor named Nareshi Meena talked candidly about her treatment for a brain tumour. The 27-year-old competitor tells Big B that her tumour is "critical," requiring costly surgery to remove. She disclosed that she will pay for her medical care with the money she won.

She said "Sir, In 2018, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I even had surgery in 2019, and my mother had to sell her jewellery to pay for my therapy." Even after the surgery the doctors were unable to completely remove the tumour. The surgery too cannot be repeated as it is in a critical part of the body.Doctors recommended proton treatment, which is extremely costly and offered in only 2-4 hospitals across India. They had compensated between 25 and 30 lakhs for the treatment," Nareshi told the actor.

After hearing this, Amitabh Bachchan became emotional and addressed to assist the contestant. The Kalki 2898 AD actor said that he will pay for her brain tumour treatment and persuaded her not to worry about it. "Nareshi Ji, I will do my utmost to fund the costs of proton therapy that you require for your treatment. Mujhe aapka sahayak banna hai (I want to support you), and whatever cash you win on the show would be yours. "Be assured of your treatment," he said.
