                        Tata Harrier

The all new launched Mahindra Thar Roxx undoubtedly offers luxury features and superior off-road capabilities. Moreover the Scorpio N is available in 7 seater version which makes it suitable for large families. The prices of Scorpio N ranges from Rs 16.64 lakh and goes up to Rs 29.84 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) making it a good option to go for rather than the Roxx.

The interior of Mahindra Scorpio N comes with a 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a 6-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and auto dimming IRVMs, among other features.

                         Hyundai Creta

The last Suv in the list is the Hyundai Creta called as the king of mid-size Suvs in its category offering best in segment features and comfort. The prices of Creta starts from Rs 13.04 lakh and goes upto Rs 24.26 lakh (on-road in Mumbai). When we come to the interior, the Creta features 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment, a 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, Auto dimming IRVMs, 360-degree camera, 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, ventilated front row seats, leather upholstery, Bose premium 8 speaker sound system, adaptive cruise control, 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Moreover if one wants to save more money while buying the Hyundai Creta a trick might work. The Government of India has been offering a range of advantages and tax incentives for trashing the old cars under the Vehicle Scrappage Scheme 2021. There is a golden chance if you own one. Let us tell to briefly, how it works.

The new vehicle scrappage program, announced in 2021, aims to remove unsafe and polluting motor vehicles from the road. So, if you have had a petrol car for more than 15 years or a diesel car for more than ten years, the government is providing attractive incentives to promote car scrapping which includes incentives like :

▪︎ 4% to 6% discount on ex-showroom cost of the new vehicle.

▪︎ Waiver of the registration charges.

▪︎ Road tax benefits of 25% for non transport vehicles.

▪︎ Additional manufacturer end scrappage discount.

Consider the Hyundai Creta's S(O) version. The current price for this model is Rs 14.35 lakh (ex-showroom). If your present car passes for scrapping, you may benefit by getting a Rs 71,800 (ex-showroom) concession and a Rs 46,000 road tax waiver on the model. These allowances will bring down the price significantly, from Rs 17.03 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) to Rs 15.85 lakh. This is a huge savings of Rs 1.20 lakh on the model. These price reductions are in addition to the price you get for your scrapped car (Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh).
