The Maruti Suzuki eVX is planned to be introduced in India in early to mid-2025. It might have an estimated range of more than 550 km on a full charge.Maruti Suzuki introduced the eVX concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in February, following its initial premiere at the 2023 Auto Expo and subsequent presentation at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo. The official version will be revealed in January 2025 during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
The brand is presently testing prototypes of the eVX in anticipation of its launch in India in early to mid-2025. Before making its debut in India, the eVX will be introduced in Japan, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Recent spy photographs show the development of test prototypes, including key aspects that indicate the vehicle is nearing production readiness.
The Maruti Suzuki eVX prototypes show crisp LED headlamps and taillamps with unique LED Daytime Running Lights and a horizontal LED light bar linking the rear taillamps. The dual lighting signatures are arranged parallel to one another. The eVX will compete against cars such as the Hyundai Creta EV and the recently released Tata Curvv EV.

The Maruti Suzuki eVX features a large bumper opening, V-shaped multi-spoke alloy wheels, and rear door handles positioned on the pillars. Tall pillars and a thick horizontal grille bar connecting the headlamps help to define its look. The SUV is estimated to start at Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom) and would include a slew of modern technologies inside.
The Maruti Suzuki eVX will be loaded with a huge touchscreen entertainment system that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an all-digital instrument dashboard, and a heads-up display. Automatic climate control, a wireless smartphone charger, vented and powered front seats, adjustable headrests, and a redesigned two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel will all be offered.
The midsize electric SUV is expected to include Level 2 ADAS technology, leather seat upholstery, and a variety of driving modes. It is planned to be powered by a 60 kWh battery pack, with a stated driving range of more than 550 km per charge.
